Tho Premier has received the following telegram from the Governor, who has received the fallowing from tho General of CommtaiicatfJottit;—l'The Victorian; ltjL"t Capetown on the 20th of February, and has on board for New Zealand Lieut Warrington., of Brabant's Horse, and .20 men of tlie New Zealand contingents and men from the various colonial corps, all of which will tranship at Brisbane/
WELLINGTON, February 23.
The Premier has been advised thafethe steamer Victorian has left Capetown yesterday with the following New Zealanders aboard: —Private Theodore Casey, First Contingent, Auckland; J. Townsend, first, Waikouaiti ; L. Home, second, Blenheim; J. Borlase, Hotehkiss battery Port Chalmers.; R. Browne, second, Horo rativ; C. Evains, third, Oraui Gorge; J. Anderson third, Ruanui station; F. Bird, third, Westport; W. Spain, fourth, Central Otago; A. Baker, fourth, Wellington ; G. Wilkinson, fourth, Auckland; M. Cream, fourth, New Plymouth; W. Gibson, fourth, Opitonui, Auckland; A. Dixon, fifth, Gore; N. Bodmin, fifth, Wellington; Quartermaster SergteantW. Reeves, fifth, Belfast; Privates Harold Thomson, fifth., Rangitikei; T. Andrews, fifth, Ashburtoiij J. Liggins, fifth, Tokomai'U; Moyea (not mentioned in official list.
