LEADERS.

RAIDS ON UNFRIENDLY COLONISTS

LONDON, February 22.

Louis Botha on ■ the 10th inst. recommended his followers never to surrender. He would continue to lead them while 500 of them were'left. The burghers replied that it was difficult to continue the struggle. Their ammunition was almost exhausted, and the British were destroying crops and food.
