Wellington Anniversary
WELLINGTON, January 22.
The anniversary of the Wellington pro vince is being celebrated to-lay by the observance of a general holi lay.
Tho principal event is the L'ort Nicholson Yacht Club's regatta,, in. which inter est.'centres in;;the race between the; Rainbow, of Auckland, and Waitanj,'i,.of. Wellington: On the first) round -of.. the course the-Rainbow was 9 minutes ahead of the Waitangi and unless a mishap occur cs she must win easily. The Atlanta won the second class race, Siren second.
