AUCKLAND, January 4 ■ DEATH OF MR D. ROSS. Donald Ross, shipowner, died last night, aged sixty eight years. He was a native of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He j waa a civil engineer by profession and carried out the Brisbane water works. He was also chief engineer for Hawke's Bay in the daya of the provincial government
