Lili Sharp-Bafalewski Concert.

Attention is again called to the appearance here to-morrow (Friday) of the Lili | Sharp.Rafalewski Concert Company, who have been giving concerts with great sue cess in all the larger towns of New Zealand According to all reports Miss Sharp is endowed with a wonderful gift of song and a great treat is in store 'fop her hearers to-morrow evening. She has a rich mellow and sympathetic voice of great range and undeniable power and beauty, and added to these many qualifications possesses a charming stage l presence and the art of being in touch with her audience at once. Professor Marshall Hall, the greatest authority - on musical matters in all Australia, predicted for her magnificent voice a great career, a prophecy which happily proves its , truth daily, so cordial and flattering is the reception she nightly receives. In the opinion of competent critics, M. Rafalewski, as a pianist and violinist, has no equal in the Australian colonies, and the marvellous effects produced by his nimble fingers have to be heard to be believed.l One critic writes: "His performances on' the piano were almost equalled by his violin solo, and as all his items were given without any reference to manuscript, - his memory must indeed be prodigious." Al;together a great musical ..treat may be anticipated by those intending to be pro. sent. ■■"■ ' ''; ' . .'•.'■
