THE SIXTH CONTINGENT

WELLINGTON, January 2. With regard to the despatch of the sixth contingent, the Hon. J. G. Ward states that it is intended to gather all the southern men and those from the south part of the North Island in Wellington for despatch to the front. The troopship will then go to Auckland to pick up the northern portion of the contingent.
