The manager (Mr T. A. Dunlop) iv obedience to instructions, has stopped both pumps. The old Big Pump passes back to the control of the Drainage Borird at midnight, and will probably not be worked till' further instructions have been received from the Board. The- Thames Hauraki pump is shut down indefinitely pending instructions.
