- (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 20. Ati the Trades Conference resolution! were carried urging the Government to provide that inspectors oi other persons should be instructed to enforce awards or other 1 agreements under thei Arbitration Act; that the Government should be amenable to the provisions of the Act; that the Government be urged to in troduce^a bill submitting the abolition of the) Upper House to a referendum. Mr. Slater,read a paper on 'Hint* as to Proceedings Under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act."
