COMMISSIONS FOR NEW ZEALANDERS.

■ WELLINGTON, April 18. The Governor has received the following from the Adjutant-General of the War Office, dated London, 18th April: "Messrs Wood, Holdermess.. and Russell, New Zealand local forces, have been appointed second lieutenants of the First Kings Liverpool regiment. Seoond Essex Regiment, and First Northampton Regiment. They should proceed at once to South Africa, Burmah, and Bengal respectively."
