LONDON, April 17. Mr 1. Day, manager of Mr. Frank Smith's diamond mines, saved, the | available diamonds. A number of documents were concealed in tin boxes.and gaspipes, the burying spot being known only by himself and ■tha chairman.' He recovered them after Kimberley was relieved.
