Messrs James and John Dare of Mount Pleasant left for Auckland last night, en route for South Africa. The music at the Forester •' fete yesterday was eupplied by the 1 hame* Naval Band, ucder Bandmaster Smith, and was quite up to the high standard of the Band's I performances. T The Yaldares Vaudeville and Circus company concluded their short season last nigbjt to a crowded house. A lady and gentleman riding bicycles at Gealdine last week collided, with the result that the lady had he nose broken and the man had his head split open.
