His Worship the Mayor of Christchurch, with the approval of the Defence Department, has placed an order for fifty sets of cavalry mounts for the Canterbury contingent with Mr. W. S. Jones, saddler, of Auckland. The equipage is similar to that supplied to the first and second New Zealand contingents
