Mr. Justice Day couldn't quite understand why. a'man like Mr. Tudor Crawshay should .want to. con.vert his character into. cash., lif he were Mr. Crawshay he would have been inclined to have taken the £100 when he was sure of getting it. That, in addition to an apology, which was inserted in a prominent position in the paper, was surely as much compensation as anybody under the circumstances ought to expect..
