DUNEDIN, June 27. THE MINING REGULATIONS.
A petition is being circulated and signed asking that the {mining regulations be amended by imodifying the labor conditions in respect of sluicing clafyns and assimilating them more nearly to the conditions' for dredging claims.< It is alleged that at present claim-owners are obliged to engage more labor than can be profitably,eto ployed.
