BREACH OF BY-LAWS.
Samuel Driver pleaded guilty to riding a bicycle on the footpath ie Davey Btreet, but explained that the street was in very bad order, and at the occurrence took place at 7 o'clock in the morning, he did not consider that he was infringing the spirit oi the law.
Mr. Gillespie remarked that the by law was being broken -daily by cy clists, to the danger of pedestrians. Defendant would be fined 5s and costs 7s.
George Smith was fined Is and costs 7s for allowing his horse to wan der in the streets of the Borough.
