THE STARTING MACHINE.
LONDON, June 24
Mr. Septinius Miller, chairman of the Victorian Racing Club committee, at,the request of the Prince of Wales,' has explained to the Jockey Club the experiences of Australian clubs with the starting gates. He said he was confident there would be no regret at the adoption. The Prince advised making an experiment.
