The. manager reports .—On Monday I commenced work with one man on the leader referred to in my last report. After tracing it on the surface for a little, started to sink a small shaft on it. Eight feet has since been sunk, and the leader broken out, which has varied in thickness from pne to four inches. Though uuable so far to see gold in the 6tcne, lain able to get a dish prospect both from tho locso and H'liid stoxie. 'mc.country is a favourable 1 cla*s of brown* sandstone, and admits of good progress being made. KHARTOUM
The manager reports: —Two shifts of hands are now employed in driving the level, which has been extended a distance of 15ft for the week ending 22nd June.
