At Bow Street Police Court, Louis Henry Goodman and others were charged with having conspired to defraud the public in connection with the " West Australian Gold Districts Trade Corporation," and were com* mitted for trial. During the hearing, it transpired that the shareholders had lost £400 000 on the face value of the sbaies, and no profit reaulted from the investments.
