Melbourne, February 18. Alfred Ford was committed for trial for the murder of a Chinaman named Dan Young near Horsham. Young disappeared in September, and recently his skeleton was four?din a hut covered with bloody bags, the skull being smashed. Ford, shortly after the tragedy, sold Young's horse and cart, which he stated he had bought. He afterwards left the district and when arrested had Young's watch in bis possession.
