Orange Blossoms.

A rery pretty wedding was celebrated yesterday afternoon in St. James' Presbyterian Ghurch, the contracting parties being Miss Mary Burns, fourth daughter of the late Mrs Burns, to Mr George Newland, eldest son of Mr Newland, of Kiri Kiri The Eev. J. McKenzie officiated. The.bride was attended by two bridesmaids — Misses Nellie Burns and Maggie Smith (niece of the bride), who wore very pretty costumes of canary colored cashmere, trimmed wi h cream satin and chiffoo, with hats to match. Each carried a handsome floral horse-shoe, made by Mrs Wilson. The bride, who was attired in her travelling dress of fawn serge, trimmed with blue silk, and hat to match, was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr John Smith. Mr Fred Adamson acted as groomsman, assisted by Messrs E. McLeay and E Newland. After the ceremony the party drove to the bride's residence, Beach Eoad, where a recherche breakfast was partaken of. The health of the newly married couple was proposed by Mr D. McAlpine, and was duly honored. Mr and Mrs Newland left in the evening for Auckland, with the best wishes or their relatives and friends, for a happy and prosperous future.
