OHINEMUBI DEFEATS WAIHI.

Paeroa, July 2. The representative matco, Waihi v. Ohinemuri, was played here this afternoon, Ohinemuri winning by six points o nil. It was a good "go," the teams being evenly matched. Power scored a try in the first spell, which he did not convert, and kicked^ a goal from a penalty in the second spell. For the winners Giliett (back) was very good, bis kicking being very serviceable. Coote (half) and Power ilso played well. In the forwards, Davis, Luke, and Sorenson showed good form For the losers, Evitt, Clarken, Wright, Garvey (backs), and Wyatt, Flett, McLeay, and Boneham rendered a good account of themselves. Mr Kerr, of Karangahake, was referee.
OHINEMUBI "BEP." TEAM. The following team will represent Ohinemuri against Thames next Saturday:—Full-back, Wilson ; threequarters, Power Giliett, Ryan; fiveeighths, Coote; half, Hrpmwich; forwards, Conolly and Whelan (wings), Sorenson,McGlynn, McQuarten, Luke, Parkinson, Davis, Gelling. Emergencies, McKay and Keating (backs); (forwards) Douglas andLundy. An Auckland referee is to be asked for.
