He said the Government's proposed amendment to the Bill was not acceptable, as it did not meat the demands in a federal •pint. He admitted the need of modifying the Bill proposed by the Intercolonial 'Conference and after tLe elections he would reconsider the financial clauses with a view of eliminating "Braddon's blot " and the deadlock clauses.
The Attorney General replied in defence of the Government and promised to bring forward a Bill free fronvthe innumerable iniquities contained in the present one. Adelaide, July 1. If Sir J. W. Dormers' motion of censure on the Government is negatived in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Glynn intends to move another.
