(From Oar Own Correspondent.) Auckland, July 1. A little more bunneM wu recorded Suring the week, but generally at lower rates. Most attention was directed to Thames aharee, but the only advance in price was in City ol of Auckland, which opened with sellers at 3jd and buyers at 2*d. These share* improved on account of rumors as to a probable amalgamation with the Tararu Creek, and closed with buyers at 6d and sellers Bd. Mew Alburnias were placed at 2s 8d» alter which 2s 6d was offered, sellers asking .'s lid. May Queen-Haurakis were somewhat easier, business being done at 4s lid, closing with sellers at 6s and buyers at 4s 9d. Mabara Boyats declined to sellers 3s 3d, buyers offering 2s 7d. Tararu Creeks freely changed hands from 2s 2d to 2s dosing with sellers at 2s 3daod buyers at Is 9d. Broken Hills changed hands at 2d, more being wanted at ljd. There were buyers of Kuranui-Oaledonians at Is, and*sellers at Is 3d; May Queen Extended*, buyers at 3d, and sellers at 3d; Victorias, buyers at Bd, and sellers at 6d; and Nonpereil, buyers at l|d, and seller* at 3tf. Sellers appeared for the following, but no buyers quoted: Moanataisri 4t, Pont Consolidated 2e 3d, Monowais 6a, Sheridan* (paid up) 7d t JCunuMis ci, Kaisers (paid up) 3d, New Whaus 3d, and Oomstocks 2sd. Oreat Barriers and Kuaotanns were neglected. la Ohinemuru, the only business noorded was in Waihi stocks. Bales took place in Waihis at £5, and closed without buyers and sellers at £5 Sa. Waihi with buyers 6d and sellers 6d. Jt steady demand existed for Waihi Souths, numbers ohaaging hands at 6fa with sellers at 7d and buyeis at 6d. Alphas were offered at Is 8d (call paid), Is 6d being procurable. New Zealand Crowns were wanted at 15s Bd, sellers holding for 17s 6d. Ohiuemuri syndicates had sellers at «s 3d and buyers at Is 6d.
