Auckland, March 23,

Inspector Hickson has made inquiry into the complaints made by several citizens against a constable. There was also a charge against this member preferred by his superior officer, Jhe outcome was that the constable tendered his resignation.

An Auckland citizen has applied for a summons against another member of the force, the ground being that the constable exceeded his duty.
