Paeroa Drnids' Sports.
The Paeroa Druids' Sports, which took place on Saturday afternoon on the Racecourse, were an unqualified success, both as regards entries and attendance. The events were got off splendidly to time and the whole conduct of the meeting reflected very creditably upon the committee and officers. The following are the results: Amateur Bicycle Race, one mile J.Adams 1; D. McArthur 2. Druid's' Cup. Three distances. 100 yards; J H. Jones 1 ; Morgan 2 ; Lewis 3. 220 yards : Jones 1 J.Morgan 2 ; Lewis 3. 440 yards : Morgan 1 ; Jones and Lewis dead heat for 3econd. Final : Jones 1; Morgan 2 ; Lewis' 3 Half-mile.—A. Tregoweth 1; W. R Johnson 2
Hack Race, one mile, catch weights. —E. Shaw's Hamoa I ; Wrigley's Madge 2.
Amateur Race, 120 yards.—W. F Draffinl
