Disastrous Fires.

Washington, January 26,

A fire at St. Louis, State of Missouri, destroyed an elevator, three millions of grain and 85 corn laden cars. The damage is estimated at a million dollars.

Another fire at Spokane, Washington territory, destroyed a six-story house. Out of 100 inmates it is believed 50 perished. Many made desperate leaps from high storeys, and were killed in falling.
