Rome, August 16. Further details of the duel between Prince Henry of Orleans and the Comte de Turin show that it was fought in the Bois Foucrosson at St. Cloud, and was a sharp and determined encounter, lasting twenty-six minutes.

In the first assault Orleans was eared from a stab by his upper trousers' button.

In the fifth Orleans received a wound on the right Bide of the lower abdomen. His seconds thereupon stopped the duel,

The doctors state that if the wound had been inflicted a half centimetre further it would have penetrated the intestines.

When the wound had been dressed, Orleans resumed the contest and vigorously assumed the offensive until touched in the right breast by his opponent's sword.

i In the second round, which was I fought at close quarters, the seconds intervened. In the third round Turin received a cut on the back cf the hand, aid in the fourth, round Orleans' sword bent against Turin's, and the latter agreed to a suspension of hostilities. Immediately after the duel Turin started jon hi* return to Italy. Orleans afterwards walked to a carriage, in which he was conveyed to the residence of the Due de Chartres. No important organ is touched by the wound, and the Prince is doing well. The result of the duel was received with much delight; in Italy. The Emperor of Germany sent hi* congratulations to Turin.
