DEATH OF THE VICTIM

Napier, March 28. Mr James Mclntosh, the victim of robbery and assault iv Munroe street on Saturday night wsek, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday evening, shortly after 7 o'clock, at Neale's boarding-house, Dickens street. His depositions were taken on Friday afternoon. An inquest will be held at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The two men, Fitzgerald and Robinson, are in custody, charged with committing the assault.
