Accident at Kopu Sawmil

Just after making a start at his work this morning, Mr Charles Smith, engaged at Gibbon's mill at Kopu, met with rather an unfortunate accident, the result being that he sustained a gash between the chest and neck from one of the teeth which flew from the drag saw he was working. .Smith bled pretty freely and was brought in to the Hospital for treatment, 'with as little delay at possible. He is now in a critical condition.
