Berlin, May 9. An inspired article in a paper states that Kruger possesses a proclamation of the Reform Committee, which was in effect that Chas. Lennard was to be President, Lionel Phillips Secretary of State, and J. H. Hammond AttorneyGeneral. It adds that the revolution failed owing to a disagreement among the reformers and Rhodes, who was confident of the action being sanctioned, and who, if successful, would have claimed the Presidency of the South African Stages.
Capetown, May 10. A [force of 200 mounted-. and:_3oo foot, with four Maxims, is leaving for Buluwayo to endeavor tos effect^a junction with Cecil Rhocles :"&i Gwelo.
London, May 11. The Bulu^ayp Stock Exchange has been converted into a Hospital. A petition is being signed in Buluwayo asking that Rhodes be retained by the Chartered Co. The Dutch Press has adopted a more friendly tone, but the Berlin Press denounces Ob ambeiiain for defending Rhodes.
