Cairo, April 22. Baldissera has returned. Menelik's peace proposals and negotiations have been abandoned. The Dervishes, before their defeat by Major Sydney, entangled Fenwick scouts in the bush and speared many of them.
Fenwick's Egyptian cavalry defended the hill all night and repulsed four assaults.
