The Taupo Postmaster.

COMMITTED FOE TRIAL.

Auckland, April 22. Gavia Mclntyre Park, late Posttnaster at Taupo, was charged yesterday at the Police Oouit, before Mr H. W. Northcroft, S.M., that he did on Februaty I, at Taupo, seal a sum of £26, the projerty of Her Majesty the Queen.

Mr McAliater appeared for the Crown. Mr McGregor defended, and pleaded not guilty.

After hearing the evidence Park was committed for trial. Bail was allowed, and the sureties were fixed at two of £50 and Paik himself in £50.
