London, April 15. The Porte has protested agains' Mußßulmen fighting their co-religion-ists without consultiog the Caliph. The Cairo authorities replied that! the Dervishes, against whom the expedition was directed, were heretics, and there could be do infringement of the Sultan's firman, eiuce its object was the re conquest cf Egyptian territory. I Upon this, the Sultan gave way and acquiesced in the views of the Egyptian Government. Three armoured s'etinera wll be sent up the Kile in June to Ferkeb, midway between the second and third cataracts. St. Pjsteiisbuug, April 15. It is reported here that Russia is parleying with England in rpgard to the latter's movements in Egypt.
