Tho annual installation of fchefWorshipful | 'Master of Lodge Corinthian No 16;w E.C., took place last evening, the ltth inst., when Bro. Ezra Cartwright the retiring Worshipful Master was re-installed, he having been re-elected by his Lodge for the second term. The installation ceremony was ably conducted by Bro. W. Burton Past Master, as Installing Master, assisted by Bros. Findlay and Thorburn Past Masters of Lodge of Light, 454 1.C., and Bros. Theo. Wood and T. 0. Bayldon, Past Maxtor^ of the Corinthian Lodge. Bro Wood ably explained the working tools in the threedegrees, Bro Bayldon delivering the charge to the W.M.,8r0. Thorburnto the Wardens, and Bro. W. Findlay to the Brethren. Bro. E; Cartwright invested his officers as follow:— ! Bro. W. H. Burch, 1.P.M.; Bro. R. 11. Ellis, ! S.W.; Bro. A. Kummert, J.W.; Bro. Dr O'Callaghun, D.D., Chaplain ; Bro. Wm. Burton, P.M., Treasurer ; Bro. T. C. Bayldon, P.M., Secretary; Bro. Banks, Directorof Ceremonies, Bro. M\ Trewheela, Organist; Bro. A. Agnew, S.D.; Bro. G. E. Wiggins, J.D.; Bros. J. 11. Tucker and W. S. Grundy, Stewards; Bro. G. G. Smith, I.G. ; Bro. W. C. Hastings, Tyler. The ceremony was well' conducted by the officers above mentioned, and at its conclusion a vote of thanks was accorded them by the members of the Corinthian Lodge. Visitors were present on the occasion from New South Wales, Victoria, and many lodges in this colony.
