A SERIOUS CHARGE.
Dunedix, April 13. At the Police Court in the case of the City Corporation v. Oliver, in which a George street publican was charged with stealing gas by means of an illicit pip©, Mr Carew, S.M., sentenced the accused to two months' imprisonment. Mr McDonald, for the defence, obtained leave to appeal.
