The senior (Auckland v. Gordon) and first junior (Parnell li. v. North Shore) championship fixtures were continued on the Domain cricket ground on Saturday afternoon. The weather was none too promising, and the wickets were, in consequence of the recent rains, somewhat sticky, and hardly what might be considered favorable to run getting. In the senior match, Gordon essayed the task of securing 161 runs and the premiership.
