The Appeal Court unanimously dismissed the application in the Dean case for leave to appeal. The case of Mrs Dean was not considered by the Executive of the Council to-day, but a special meeting is convened for 9.30 to-morrow morning to decide whether the death ■•ntence is to be commuted oi* carried tut. This day. The meeting of the Executive Council to finally consider the case of Minnie Dean, will not be held before to-morrow.
