SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO A FORMER THAMESITE.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, This day. M. 0. Hickey, accountant of the Drainage Departmeuf, slipped in alighting from a tram-car and one wheel passed over the body, breaking three ribs, His condition is serious. Hickey told the driver that there was no necessity to stop to allow him to got off. The unfortunate mau narrowly i escepsd being killed two or three years ago by Jailing utt a Uum-car.
