AUCKLAND.—This day. The* New Zealand Insurance Co. have declared an interim dividend for the past half year of 12^ per cent, per annum.
NAPIER.—This day. At the Supreme Court Robert Pippard, on the charge of setting fire to the Rev. Mr Patterson's stables, was acquitted, but for stealing harness therefrom he got eighteen months.
