Napiee, This day. . Most of the visiting horses taking part in the Steeplechase Meeting of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club on Wednesday have now ai rived, and some good work is being done on the track. Liberator will prdbably start a warm favorite for the big event, but as Mutiny is reserved for the Sceeplechase the latter's chance is attracting much attention. l?he best outsider is considered to be Langley the Devil. The race p:\qmis~e3 to furnish a most interesting .contest as theie will be over a dozen starters. In the Ladies' Bracelet Mystical and Welcome Nat divide favors. ; Couranto is looked upon to supply the winner of the Hurdles, and Ma echal Neil the -Maiden Steeplechase.
