The Premier hasohbleii to the Agent to inform the Marquis of Ripon that the Governorship is too itnportant a post to justify a protraoted delay, and added that if no one in the Mother Country is. eligible or willing to occupy the position we are quite prepared to make a suitable suggestion from amongst our own people.
