At the Supreme Court Eoderick McKenzie, convicted of breaking and entering, was sentenced to two years imprisonment.

WELLINGTON.—Thia day.

Mr McGowan, Tax Commissioner, will visit Sydney in response to an invitation from the New South Wales Government to explain the details of the Land and Income Tax Department. He was to have left by the Manapouri, but owingl to the pressure of Parliamentary business cannot get away till the end of the month.
