BILLY BARLOW.

We would remind our readers that the inimitable Billy BaJow will open in the Academy of Music this evening, when we hare no doubt he will be welcomed by a good audience. Referring to a receot performance the Auckland Star says:— •• The Opera House was kept in a state of babbling merriment hat night by the clever songs and impersonations of " Billy" Barlow. The «• mirth and youthful jollity" of this old and favorite actor have been a theme for the admiration of all who have been fortunate enough to laugh with him. His character sketches display a wonderful mobility of countenance, and in his original contributions he exercises a good knowledge of what is likely to prove provocative of laughter. To-night "De Blue-tailed Fly" will wing bis droning flight on the boards of the Opera House. Those who would do honor to the lively insect will have an opportunity to do so this evening."
