The Proposed Amalgamation of the Bason & Queen of Beauty.
LIKELY TO EVENTUATE. THE PROBABLE TEEMS. [By Telegraph.—Owi* Corkeshondent.] Auckland, This day. The Saxon Committee have received a reply from Mr Dunlop stating- the terms on which he would be prepared to amalgamate the Ojueen of Beauty special claim with the Saxon Company, and a meeting of the directors will be held to-morrow, at which, in all probability the terms will be accepted. 1 understand that the terms are :—£soo cash, and 10,000 shares paid up to 2s Bd, the amount at present called up on the Saxon shares. The capital of the amalgamated company will then be 110,000 shares.
The Saxon directors have decided to let the whole of the mine between Nos. 2 and 5 levels on tribute, and tenders for same will be at once called for.
