MONTHLY MEETING-,
I PUMPING TO BE FROM 400 ft.

Auckland, This day. The usual monthly meeting of the Thames Drainage Board was held today, the whole of the members being present.
It was decided that pumping operations, when resumed, should be from the 400 ft level.
The Board resolved not to interfere with the assessment, "but to make a rebate for May of 50 per cent., and each month, as required, on all companies who pay thoir assessment promptly. £40 was accepted from the Caledonian Co. in liquidation of their liability to the Board. It is expected that the Pump will resume pumping in a fortnight.
