Electoral Bill contains^ provision enabling shearers and commercial travellers to exercise their votes by means of electoral rights. Tho general eleciion day will be proclaimed a public holiday, but it is not intended tb'close public houses. School - hoases are to be granted without charge for public meetings. The purgation of rolls will be provided for, but the main principle of the measure is that the one-man-one-vote shall be insisted upon. The Ministry have determined that the resi dential shall be tho only fulurequalificatioD. The Premier says he has been informed that the Council regret having passed the one-man-one vote, and are determined that there shall be no further progressive reforms in that direation, while he is equally determined that there shall be. The Libel Bill will probably be re-in-trodoced early in the session.
