As others see us. The Bay of. Plenty Times says :—" Many persons in Tauranga make it a practice to growl about • how dull it is,' but from what we can learn from persons coming from various other places we are better off here than they are. At the Thames, Te Aroha, Opotiki, poromandel, &c, business is not at all brisk, and the storekeepers hardly know what to do to keep the trade together. Wo often hear it said that Opotiki is much better for business than Tauranga, but we cftnnot see it, for the population there is certainly not equal to this townj they have three butchers, three bakers, three blacksmiths, two newspapers, and other things in equal proportion." Foe the best assorted stock, the best quality of goods, ansj the best value in drapery, millinery, clothing, furnishing, &c., we commend our readers to W. g. Wylje, the cash buyer and cheap seller of the Thames. Inspect his stock, compare the value, and judge fqr yourselyee.—£Advt.]
