Mr Dibbs, Premier, was entertained at a banquet last night, end leaves for England this evening. Tbe Cabinet consider it necessary that a person representing the Government should visit England to remove tbe bad impressions caused; by " false and libellous statements) of auony mous writers." It ia wot intended to over-ride or usurp the duties of -the Agent-General.. Mr Barton .....will ibo acting-Premier during Mr Dibbs' absence.
