Trenton and May Queen Amalgamation.

We understand that arrangements bare been made by the directors of tbe Trenton and May Queen G.M. Companies to amalgamate these companies' claims, and that advertisements calling meetings for the purpose will appear in to-morrow evening's issue. In the meantime Mr Vivian, the manager of tbe Trenton, retains charge, but the services of the men have been dispensed with pending the amalgamation. Tbe May Qaeen goes on without alteration at the mine. Additional particulars regarding the amalgamation will, it is expected, be to hand to-morrow. We consider tbat the above is a step taken in the right direction, the advisability of which we heartily endorse.
