Whose brilliant miod was ifc that conceived tbe idea that the Council should even consider the propriety of giving the fancy price of £75 an ecre for the land P Whose land is it—let us know the names of the truly philanthropic owners who are wii • iog—kind souls that they are—to saddle the land on to the shoulders of us already overtaxed ratepayers at such a figure?
